This review is from: Came Out of the Grave (Audio CD)
i'm gonna make this review pretty clear - if you're a Balzac fan, you need to get this album. I know that not much Balzac stuff has come out in the US, so the only way one can get a hold of their albums is to get them imported [thus leading to a high cost], but believe me, the material is quite varied and original. The opening "Grave" is a short little instrumental piece, and the song that follows it unleashes the true fury that is Balzac. The rest of the album is quite good as well, as the songs range from that "whooooaaaa - oh - ohhh" fans have come to know, to more industrial, heavy notes. Overall, a great album, and fans won't be dissapointed. Only negative comments I can make is that some of the songs contain too much screaming, which I don't think is singer Hirosuke's shining point. Still, there's no shortage of catchy, punk rock madness on this one. Favorite tunes include ; Inside My Eyes, Came Out of the Grave, Art of Dying, and The World Without End. If you're willing to pay the price tag, Balzac will not dissapoint.
