Bought this because I hated the camelback sweating, plus to make it easier to carry with me. It works beautifully -- keeps the moisture down enough I can tote my camelback with ice water in my purse! The material breathes, so it doesn't look like it will develop mold issues inside. Very easy to get it on and off the bottle. Overall, VERY happy with this purchase.

I use the .75 insulated bottle carrier with the stainless insulated bottle CamelBak 0.5-Liter Insulated Stainless Steel Better Bottle. It is a really nice upgrade.

The .5 size works perfectly with .75 sleeve. The .5 bottle is the same size as the .75, but it loses some volume because of the insulation.

PROS (of this configuration)
- No plastic
- Lasts Longer
- Stays cold overnight
- Padded (stainless isn't exactly comfortable to hold without the sleeve)
- Extremely durable

CONS
- Price (a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for)
- Slightly less volume (hasn't been a big deal for me)

I purchased this khaki insulated bottle carrier for my red Camelbak BPA Free Better Bottle. I love this color combination - I think it is quite attractive! I carry ice water to school each day in it.

Furthermore, this is a very functional item. Its positives include:
- Insulation - keeps water cold longer. By the end of 6 hours indoors, the ice has melted in my ice water, but the water is still nice and cool.
- Protection - protects the bottle itself from scratches & scuff marks.
- Absorption - soaks up condensation from the bottle & allows it to evaporate in a more controlled manner such that it does not collect around the bottom of the bottle, forming a ring on tables, etc.
- Transportation - the elastic nylon strap that forms a loop at the top of the carrier & then snaps back to its side provides a more comfortable place than the rigid plastic loop on the bottle itself to slip a finger through to carry the bottle when full.

All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase & would recommend this carrier to anyone who carries around a 0.75L Camelbak bottle.

I use this primarily in the summer to keep my water chilled and to absorb condensation. My children also use these for sailing in the summer. Great product.

I have used and tried many different things for carrying around my water(ok I will admit it, sometimes water Plus..hehe) and they all seemed to fall just a bit short in one area or another. The biggest things that I did not like, was long straps(did not need to have one more thing around my neck) and wrap over tops. So my quest for the 'perfect' travel combo continued. Glory!!! I may have found 'The ONE'. This is the best combo by far. The thing that makes this a bit better then the other holders out there, is the strap and snap and open top, with no flap in the way of the top. This allows me to wrap-n-snap it to my carry-on pull luggage, try having a water bottle that is insulated and accessible at the same time while traipsing through airports. Then what do you do when you get on the plane?? Why you wrap-n-snap it around the upright tray on the side bar that extends from the seat, so all during the flight, you can get it quick and easy, and you don't have to worry about it when you sleep. Along with my quick flip bottle combo from Nalgene "Everyday OTG Tritan Water Bottle - 22 oz" that allows me to easily add ice and any liquid during the trip(remember I said something about not having a top flap to get in the way of the top), I have not found a better combo, and this also allowed me to use my UV-c pen purifier/filter(this thing is sooo cool 'Steri-Pen UV Light Water Purifier') in India with this combo. The bottom line is that I even now use this everywhere I go daily, even local, it is my go to-travel anywhere combo, what more can I say??

I absolutely love this product. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it! It keeps my water bottle from sweating all over my desk and keeps my water cold for hours longer. When I was just using the bottle by itself all of the ice would have melted in it by 11:00. Now there's still ice in it at 3:00. If you're a fan of the Camelbak bottles be sure to get one of these. They make the bottles even better!

Keeps water cool for longer and its handle makes it easy to carry. It is nice looking and protective so even if you drop your bottle it wont get scratched.

i ordered this despite the bad reviews over the strap portion of this item. the strap was not a concern as i wanted this to reduce sweating and make it easier to grip the bottle. however, i was pleasantly surprised to find that the product has been updated quicker than camelbak could even change the pic on the company website. the strap is no longer cheap plastic. it is an entension of the nufoam material with a "real" button snap. it does support the weight of a full bottle, but, why risk it when there is a place to attach a caribiner on the lid. i like a company that listens to feedback and instantly makes changes. some buyers also complained of the bottom of the cover being mostly open. the hole is about the diameter of a pen and is reinforced with stitching. the insulation is not very effective and won't keep your drink cold for long periods. overall, its worth the money. it fills my reason for purchasing it by making it easier to grip and keeping it from sweating all over the place.

When I received this item I was so mad because I thought this was the bottle with the insulated case. When I realized it was just the case
i was dissapointed because I have been wanting one of the bottles for a while. I actually order the bottle at like 3:30 that day (Thursday) and revieved it on Friday. All in all this mistake was a blessing... I LOVE the insulated case. I was getting a camelbak because one of my good friends love hers, now I think my is so much better. lol keeps the liquid colder so much longer and I never have to deal with the bottle "sweating" ...The best accidental purchase EVER lol ... And I say accidental because I prob would not have bought it otherwise because of the price. But if I upgrade to a 1 liter bottle I will def but one of these for it :)

The package description says "NuFoam - Better insulation than neoprene!" Indeed this is so. The material is a bit thicker and heavier than a neoprene sleeve / tote like Built NY. This attests to better durability. The base of this CamelBak sleeve is made of a black rubber material thicker than the NuFoam used in the walls of the sleeve. The sleeve also fits the Contigo 24 oz bottle as well as the Klean Kanteen 27 oz bottle.
