Easy to clean.

The dripless valve works very well and won't let water out unless you are squeezing the bottle or sucking on the mouthpiece.

No seriously. I used to work in bike stores out in the Boulder area (anybody remember "The Spoke") A good bottle was always hard to come by. The tips always got chewed up and rough, they leaked, they stank, they tasted bad, they got brittle. They were just a seasonal throwaway commodity.

Until now... This really is a great bottle. The size is right. The thing opens wide enough to make ice cubes a breeze. The tip seems to be soft silicone or something, and it seals itself. No more biting and pulling to open the valve. It just opens under pressure, then seals. Perfectly, everytime. No leaks. The water flow is pretty huge too, no more sipping.

The water comes out clean smelling and tasting.

Enough said. It is simply the best bottle I've ever used.

At the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Colorado, I went scavenging for water bottles and musettes, and found a Garmin water bottle. It was the Camelbak Podium bottle. After sending it through the dishwasher cycle, I started using it. LOVED IT! I loved it so much I bought my husband two for his bike....he loves it too. This bottle is awesome. The bottle itself is that soft kind of plastic that is easy to squeeze - but you don't even need to squeeze it to get the drink out of it. The flow of water is awesome! I don't have to suck like crazy to get the water out....and yet, this bottle doesn't leak! Instead of the regular old pull the valve open, you twist this one open and closed.

This is a nice bottle, but I'm a little disappointed that it leaks when squeezed. No matter how much I tighten the cap, my drink will still seep through the threads and dribble all over me when I squeeze the bottle. Normally that might be acceptable except that the whole point of this bottle is to be leak-proof except when squeezed due to the cool valve in the cap (which is a nice feature). So now I just suck on the valve when I want a drink. That's fine, but it shouldn't be this hard to find a water bottle that doesn't leak.

This has a remarkable water dispersion lid. Water flows when you squeeze it only, even if you hold it upside down. You can also select, to a degree, the amount of water that is released. I recommend using only water and water based fluids as the tip can get catch and leave debris which is tough to clean. A Q-tip or other small cleaning device is helpful to get out the trapped gunk from the tip. I am glad that I purchased this as it can bel left around the house full and spillage is something that does not occur (Unless you forget to tighten the lid....)

This is a great bottle for sports, or if you just need to take some on the go. The jet valve works great and is adjustable so you don't drench yourself. It requires just the right amount of pressure to let water out, but water doesn't come out inadvertently. I would buy 10 more of these.

I love these bottles. I have ordered multiple because I end up losing them. My only complaint would be that the cap can breed mold quite fast if left dirty and in a hot car. Simple solution: Just remember to wash it well after every use and you wont have to worry. I ordered another a few months ago because I couldnt find mine. I recently found my friend using it because I had left it at his house and forgot about it. Even he loved it and didnt want to give it back. A good water bottle for sure.

I received this bootle with a defective top so I used the Camelbak warranty site and they shipped a new one out right away no questions asked. That alone will bring me back to Camelbak let alone the great products

I go through a lot of water bottles (tend to lose them easily) and price is an important factor. For such a good bottle, this one's price is right.

I take this bottle in the car, on my bike, carry it while running, throw it in a huge tote bag for errands, and stuff it in my backpack. It has not leaked yet, even on its side with the valve rotated to the open setting--hugely important when carrying it with books and binders. It fits my standard bike bottle holder and car cupholders. I have both the opaque white and clear versions, and slightly prefer the clear one for visibility of contents.

The only downside: when you drink from it by sucking on the mouthpiece as opposed to squeezing out a jet of water, the internal suction sometimes makes a ticking noise as the pressure slowly equalizes. It's mildly annoying. Unscrewing the top fixes it.

Overall, I recommend this bottle. Cheap enough to lose without tragedy, but just as high-quality as every other Camelbak product I've used (e.g., water packs for dirtbiking and hiking).
