It has dual front pockets to accommodate shells and other essentials, a front access blood-proof game bag that zips open for cleaning, and a specialized transmitter storage compartment. The Upland Vest provides 100 ounces (3 liters) of water via the easy filling Omega HydroTanium reservoir, which is embedded with HydroGuard Anti-Microbial Technology. It also features a Hydrolock valve that securely shuts off water flow. Other features include sternum and waist belts, and closed-cell foam to keep the reservoir insulated against extreme temperatures.

I love this pack. It not only keeps me hydrated it has lots of space to carry plenty of water for my dog too. There is also ample pockets to carry other necessary supplies needed in the field. I'm involved with SAR and the color is great for visibility as well as lots of pockets for necessary items. The only down side is, it is made for bigger people. I had to have the straps shortened as much as possible and still I can almost squeeze my dog in with me in the waist band~:) (I am under 5 ft. tall and have a small build.) It works though and is the best solution (at the best price) that I've found to carry enough water for both me and my dog as well as all the other stuff I needed to carry. It apparantly is designed more for men but I think it may fit an average built woman fairly well.
