I wanted to add video of us all with a camelbak. But this will have to do being I haven't transfer to my computer just yet. This is worth the money. It is very sturdy, very cute for us ladies, it holds a lot. BUT MOST IMPORTANT, the water is there when you need it. Running through the tub, it leaves no plastic or rubber taste. Just plain good water. I added ice with my water. It lasted the 8 hours we where out in the heat and sun. I use it at work at well, saves time making trips to get water. And if you have it close by, your going to drink it. By the way I had the cuties one. Thank you for making a great product and listing it on Amazon at a great price. Oh, yes, buy the Camelbak Bite Valve Cover, or your mouth piece is expose to all the air germs, it just hooks to the side of the pack.

I tried on many CamelBak hydration packs looking for the perfect fit and product. I tried everything from the M.U.L.E. (because I knew it was inexpensive and half the price of this one) to the LUXE (because it was a much less expensive women's fit). It was easily distinguished there was no comparison to this pack. The fit and product are worth the extra money.

I purchased this pack for all day wear at music festivals this summer (namely, Hangout Music Festival 2012) where hydration is the secret to keeping going all day and enjoyment. The ridiculously good looks are a great perk for anyone who owns this pack.

Things to strongly consider when purchasing a hydration pack:

- reservoir size and type (this is a 3Liter, Antidote reservoir)
- the ability to add accessories to the pack (I also bought the quicklink filter bc the festivals like to supply water from an icky tasting water hose)
- the size of your torso (length, width)
- S-shaped straps (this makes it more comfy for a woman to carry a pack)
- where the front, top clasps will lie (a man's pack will cut across the middle of the chest and therefore highly uncomfortable for women)

I'm sure there are many more things to consider, but these were my priorities.

This was my first camelbak, and after the high praise I've seen this brand receive, I was, perhaps, expecting a bit more. The bag itself is well made; it has pockets to stash your stuff securely while still keeping it organized. There's also a lot of storage space; I can carry a kindle, iphone, wallet, bulky sweater, two chargers, basic first aid supplies, full antidote reservoir and snacks for later--and still have plenty of room left in the bag.

Speaking of the antidote reservoir--it works really well, as long as the bag is full. It keeps your water cold--for HOURS--but the hose is a little frustrating. If the bag isn't sufficiently full, you can't smush the hose down far enough in the bag and have it stay. When the hose is too long, it bounces against your shoulder while you walk or run, unless you use the sternum strap and tuck it in there (which can be uncomfortable after a little while).

I love almost all of the features, like the pocket on the shoulder strap where I store my keys but the bouncing has gotta go--and I don't want to have to purchase an accessory from them to keep it down where it belongs on an already expensive bag.

And, just as a note: the peat coloured bag is NOT black in person; it's a dark, earthy green.

I just came back from a 9 day trip in the Grand Canyon and raved about this bag every step of the way. I actually picked this up as a last minute afterthought, thinking my trusty Camelbak "Magic" pack with its 2L water bladder may not be enough to get through the day.

I am extremely happy that I got this one as the 3L water bladder is more than enough for a hot day of hiking 7 hours straight up the Grand Canyon, under 120 degrees heat. As others have mentioned, this is so darned roomy! The main zipped compartment can easily hold five quick dry shirts, three pairs of hiking socks, and one thick thermal underwear for cold night temperatures. I stuck my sunscreen and lunches in the side water bottle pockets for easy access. One side pocket can fit four pieces of folded bread. The middle unzipped compartment was perfect for other small knickknacks like brushes, hair ties, knee braces, what have you. The front compartment fit all my cards and ID, as well as no less than 15 (!!) granola/protein/power bars. The outside loop was also great as I strapped my sleeping bag onto that and merrily hauled it down the canyon.

But despite lugging this load on my back, I never got hot or uncomfortably sweaty. I love the design of the back, it really ventilates very well. The waist buckle made the whole pack just so comfortable. I've already decided to make this bag my mainstay for all future trips, whether long vacations or overnights. I also love the color. It's so cute, more pink than purple in the picture. Really can't say much more about this bag, other than I wish it was made out of more durable materials so I can have it with me forever, and ever, and ever.

I am a shorter woman, 5-2 and this pac has adjustments for the very tall, as they all do, and for me too. I recommend this pac!
