I'm taking care of an elderly gentleman who is bedridden and spills are a major nuisance. This hands free adapter, combined with the better bottle, make keeping hydrated much easier and neater.

Works good, Got it for a good price ($5).
My only complaint is that my water bottle (.75 L) only lasts me about 15 minutes on a bike ride when I have this adapter hooked up (which is good because I am drinking more water... but means I have to carry a refill). If you plan on using it a lot, skip out on converting your bottle and just get one of those $25 actual pouch thingys. If you do get this, get one of those Camelbak "Camel clips" for $3 so you can clip the straw to your shirt, other wise (unless you have a back pack that pulls the straw up through your back pack strap) your mouth piece will just dangle inaccessibly.

Perfect for Bicycle Commuting,

This review is from: Camelbak Better Bottle Hands Free Adapter (Apparel)
I bought this while I was commuting to school by bicycle. I do not have a bottle cage on the bike that I was riding, but I was wearing a backpack with pocket made for a water bottle. This worked out well because I could leave the bottle in the backpack and put this over my shoulder - I also put a velcro band around the shoulder strap and the tube to keep it from flying around too much. Because of the design it takes a little more suction than the standard CamelBak to get a drink, but it is not so much that it is a problem.
I would recommend it for someone looking to do the same thing - most backpacks anymore have that side water bottle holder and the CamelBak bottle this goes with is really nice. 2115|R1QQ76O1UXULE1;2115|R33PEONF8SC68Z;2115|R1RWKQFY9MLQQZ;
