The Arthur Legend is examined in the light of possibility and probability. There is no doubt that the legend is enlarged continually, but the possibility of someone who inspired goodness and sought to move men to a higher moral level during the sixth century is argued with skill and heart in this documentary. Facts and fiction are clearly separated by the knowledgable speakers, and the filming is excellent. This is a valuable tool for understanding the basis for the legend and its affect on Western thought and literature.
