Basically the camera is warranted for a period of one year, but youu can read the actual warranty information at this link: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/digital_cameras/powershot_g1_x#ServiceAndSupport

Yes, the Camera is guaranteed as all Canon products are. The camera takes great Photos as long as you will not use it for Macro Photography. The Canon Powershot G15 is an excellent choice for less money.

If you are buying it from Amazon (USA) and are in the USA, the waranty is 1 year. However, if you buy the camera abroad, the waranty may not apply to the USA.

Standard 1 year Canon warranty, which is valid worldwide. Highly recommended for everything except macro and sports photography. G15 is a good cheaper alternative, but IQ definitely inferior.

1 yr limited warranty is manufacturer's warranty. I believe Amazon offers Squaretrade warranty for this product.
