Just got this item so I can't speak to the long term effectiveness. However, T-mobile no longer carries this battery and referred me to the manufacturer. The battery I had was from HTC and was never what I thought it should have been, and being it was the weekend and HTC wasn't answering phones, I came to Amazon. So far it has exceeded my expectations; holding a charge for 24 hours of moderate use.
My phone died a week later.

The title says it all. It works, but does not give me the amazing battery life I was expecting for a 1500mAh battery. If I have WIFI on and use the phone as I normally do, the battery will last about nine hours.

I had problems with the battery that came with my t-mobile wing and I replaced it with another one from the dealer but it didn't last long. I puchased this one from Amazon and it solved my problems.
