Cameron's pub became known across the U.S. and Britain when California's impending smoking ban in bars and taverns was to take effect. In 1998 he turned a red double decker bus into a smoking bus. His unique solution to keeping smoking clients happy went across the press wires and landed the story on the front pages of the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among others. Cameron's is illustrated with photos of events, people, and incidences during the colorful development of the pub.

About the Author
Cameron Palmer is an entrepreneurwho started with a beer can collection and a dream of running a restaurant. Palmer tied his love for the hospitality business to a committment to his hometown of Half Moon Bay and made the Inn a hub for community meetings and events.

What a delightful story!,

Being English myself and having visited Camerons on numerous occasions, I would never had known of it's wonderful history and hilarious, and sometimes not, revelations, had it not been for this insightful story of the Palmer Family. It is definitely a great read. Congratulations to all! I am sending a copy to to everyone in my family!

What impressed me most about the book was how much information was packed into this short biography of Cameron Palmer, the Palmer family, and the history of Cameron's Inn.
This is must reading for anyone interested in becoming a restaurateur, likes to read about family ventures, is an Anglophile, or just anyone who loves reading. There are even plenty of pictures & cartoons inside, for those who don't enjoy reading. Throughout the humor-filled story, you can learn about some of the landmarks and history of Half Moon Bay and the Coastside community, as well as read about a family that is quite extraordinary, willing to do anything for each other, including....well, I won't say anymore, don't want to give it away.
