Will continue to buy it as long as it's reasonably priced and quality remains good.

I bought the coffee originally because i liked the idea of an organic coffee that was french roasted. i like a strong cup of coffee and this coffee provides that as well as one of the best aromas and tastes of any cup of coffee ive ever had. I use this coffee with an inexpensive grinder and a nice percolator. This coffee is absolutely worth the price.

I don't think you can beat the value of this coffee, especially with the Subscribe and Save program! It is also a great French Roast with a full, deep flavor. It does not taste burnt like some of the Starbucks varieties, but is smooth and a little smokey. I like strong coffee, and so this is definitely the way to go for me. I've had compliments from visitors to our house on how good the coffee is, as well. I'm completely satisfied!

I am not a fan of "flavored" coffees. I don't use sugar. I don't use the "flavored" faux-cream products that crowd supermarket coffee aisles these days. I like real coffee with perhaps just a touch of real cream in the first cup followed by successive dilution with hot coffee top-offs (no more cream). I am not a coffee "snob" but I don't believe all coffee is the same, I like to taste my coffee - not the extras (thank you very much), and I don't mind paying more for top grade coffee. So how in the world did I wind up with this coffee in my cup??

Well, my wife is not a coffee purist. She likes her coffee sweet with flavored liquid creamer "products". How the heck can people taste the coffee with that mess in their cup?? And if you need that junk with your coffee, for goodness sake please don't waste a premium coffee! Right? I mean seriously, what's the point?

Anyway, rather than dealing with two different coffees every morning or watching a good coffee get beat up with the overpowering sweet creamer "product" (have you ever read the ingredients?), instead I went on the hunt for a real coffee with good taste, full aroma and some mutually agreeable "flavor" already in the bean that wouldn't hide the coffee but would still appeal to my wife. Well, we both love pecans so when I read reviews for Cameron's Toasted Southern Pecan whole bean coffee I decided we had to give it a shot.

The next morning after we put our first bag in the pantry, I opened it up - getting first full shot of the rich roast aroma of the whole beans (wow!) - ground the beans, brewed that first pot then put a steaming cup in front of my wife with real cream - no sugar - and asked her to just give it a try.

well, I loved the stuff. I really did. I made pot after pot, day in day out and I was convinced this was the best coffee around. But the quality has veeeeeeeeeeery verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowly been changing. Its good coffee, don't get me wrong. But it's no longer superior coffee. It has that awful back taste that lesser blends or not so fresh beans have...an ugly bite. No amount of french roasting will cover the fact that a bad bean is a bad bean.

I can't say it's all bad. It's just not superior. I hung in there for a while, even mixing it with an expresso bean to ramp it up. But all I see is that it makes the other coffee taste weak and bitter. So the search is on again.

________________previous revue________________
it's got everything:
rich roasted bean aroma before it's ground.
freshness
perfect oil balance (the beans SHINE like little patent leather shoes)
perfect acid balance
a touch of chocolate like flavor
winey

fantastic coffee. Now I'm spoiled rotten. Had to make do with a lesser (although I used to think the lesser was good coffee but now pftt!) when I ran out, became miserable and surly without my morning perfect cup. and this IS the perfect cup of coffee.

if you're a coffee person, get yourself a coffee maker that grinds too, because no point in pregrinding and wrecking the perfection. if you're gonna do it, do it right.

Wonderful coffee. Not bitter, too weak or too strong. Just right. Of all the coffee blends I have tried, this stands out in front. Thank you Amazon and Camerons.

I bought this coffee trying to save some money. Don't get me wrong, it's a great value. However if you like very bold and strong coffee you may want to pass. Contrary to other reviews this is not a super dark rich smoky coffee and it is not oily looking like other French roasts. I keep coming back to Starbucks and will be returning again. Although Kicking Horse Kick Ass Dark and 454 Horsepower are as good, the price has gone up so it is no longer a deal. Hey,I like what I like.

I am very picky about my coffee. I decided to just start trying a bunch of different coffee roaster's coffee and see if I could find the diamond in the rough. So far this has been a favorite. It delivers a darker roast without the bitterness. I would say it is just a bit lighter than your French roast bean. For the price it's worth a try!!

This used to be my favorite coffee. Now it is a hit and miss. I never get fresh beans anymore and they no longer accept returns. I feel cheated, especially for the price. I don't think it is worth it anymore and no one on the other end seems to care anymore. Such a shame.
