I used this for Thanksgiving turkey. It did very well. The smoke was not too strong for flavoring. For fowl, I give it 5 stars. For beef, I only give it 3 stars, the meat didn't "seal" well. Please note, it could very well have been my fault.

They're wood chips ... arrived as intended, they smoke when you put fire to them, and they are properly labeled. Hard to mess this one up. :)
