I use this for all types of meats. The flavor is good. Not too strong with a 1 hour smoking. Don't forget to soak the chips for at least 20 minutes.

They're wood chips ... arrived as intended, they smoke when you put fire to them, and they are properly labeled. Hard to mess this one up. :)

They're wood chips, they smoke, yum. Actually, they're a step above what I've used in the past. They're not too small and sawdusty like some, and they're not too big to give off good smoke. They're just right for a cast pan that I have just below the grate of my BBQ.

Used these to make a new recipe for chili where I smoked the meat for 4 hours before making the chili - definitely a winner.
