Camille Glenn's book of old fashioned Christmas recipes is a pure delight. Not only are the recipes clear, easy to read and tasty when prepared, but the format is "cook friendly" and easy to follow. Most ingredients for the recipes can be found at the grocery store, with a few exceptions. I've owned and read many cookbooks over the years, and I would highly recommend this Louisville, Kentucky cooking teacher's book as either a gift for an aspiring chef or as a nice Christmas gift for anyone who enjoys fine cuisine and Southern hospitality.

This is a must-have for those fans of the late, great Camille Glenn (who I had the good fortune to meet when I lived in Louisville, KY) a true genuine lady who almost made it to 100 yrs. of age!

The little paragraphs she used to introduce each recipe more than make up for the lack of photos...and her tips are VERY helpful. It's like having a talented grandmother share her cooking wisdom with you.

Ms. Glenn's Heritage of Southern Cooking is one of my favorite cookbooks, and I'm thrilled to add this to my collection. She brings recipes from not only KY but also SC and even FL because she actually lived in these states...and, both books are wonderful because of this.

Very nice purchase for a friend, who loves Ms Glenn. Communication was good and delivery quicker than was first desribed.
