la voz mas grande de españa, August 13, 2000
This review is from: Camilo Sestos-Algo Mas (Audio CD)
sin duda camilo sesto es el más grande cantante de balada en la historia, un compositor único y una voz sin igual. Este es un gran album, de los primeros. Canciones excepcionales.

Remarkable, July 19, 2000
This review is from: Camilo Sestos-Algo Mas (Audio CD)
In this remarkable production, the great Camilo from Spain share with us once again his extraordinary talent as a composer and his unmatched voice. This production was released in the seventies; those days the social concern was deeper than today and Camilo, despite the fact that he has always been a romantic singer, included one protest song: "Si se calla el cantor" (If the singer is silenced) from Horacio Guarany. The results are impressive, especially the final shout "Calla la vida". Don't miss the hits "Algo mas", "Hablemos de Algo", "Todo por Nada", "Quien" and "Sin Remedio" which are the best tracks of this album. The only weak point I can find here is Camilo's attempt at singing songs in English, with very poor results, in "Day after day" (it is a funny song after all - so bad it's good). Get this great album and you won't be disappointed.

What an Album!!, December 13, 2004
This review is from: Camilo Sestos-Algo Mas (Audio CD)
This is the Camilo album I play the most.....after "Sentimientos".
For being his third album, back in 1973, Camilo had an enviable voice, songwriting skills, and feeling!!! In my opinion, he is the best singer I have heard, surpassing other more famous such as Luis Miguel, Julio Iglesias or Frank Sinatra. I do not like those singers because, in my humble opinion, the moodiness, the wide range of feelings Camilo can convey they cannot.
Anyhow, there pretty much no bad song on this album. I do not like 3 songs ("Vagabundo", "Day After Day", "En Valencia"), only. The rest of the album is one great song after another. My favorite here is "Hablemos de Algo". In second place, "Todo por Nada". But again, these are justg sparkling jewels in a superb crown album!!
Enjoy!
