Fernando is amazing. I really enjoy this album. I speak very little spanish, but I love his music. Fernando does it again with this smooth album. There is such peace in his voice. It has been amazing for my walk with God to listen to him.

I speak a little Spanish, and was intrigued enough by what I understood to begin translating the lyrics. Actually wept when I finished translating "Jehova, Senor de los Cielos". Recommend it to anyone one- whether they speak English or Spanish.

This CD lives up to the rave reviews I have read about it. The Spanish is beautiful and easy to understand with a couple of semesters or so of formal instruction. Very mellow. Nice instrumentation.

This is one of my favorite CDs of all time. I don't speak a lot of Spanish, but I can pick up much of what he says. The lyrics are great, the music itself is beautiful. One regret..."Con Que Pagaremos" is not on this CD!

This is my first time hearing Fernando Ortega's music other than a song or two on the radio in English a few years back...and it is wonderful! In his voice and expression there is such a peace or joy or longing in God, and he sings with a beautiful passion. Not being a Christian myself creates no barriers; what is there that can't be understood in this?

All of the songs on the recording had lyrics originally in English and were converted to Spanish (very beautifully!) by Jacobo Stefamí. Fernando Ortega wrote many of the original lyrics and/or the music, while others are by (or co-written by) his friends John Andrew Shreiner and Elaine Rubenstein. All of it is passionate music...My favorites are "Mi abuelito" and "Flama de ángel."

Con Camino Largo es mi primera vez de escuchar la música de Fernando Ortega, menos una canción o dos que se tocaron por el radio unos años atrás...y es una maravilla! En su voz y expresión hay tal sentido de la paz o la alegría o el anhelo en Dios, y él canta con una pasión bella. Que yo no sea cristiana no crea ningunas barreras en comprensión; qué hay en esta música que no se puede entender?

Todas las letras de las canciones en este disco fueron escritas originalmente en inglés y transcreadas a español (tan bien!) por Jacobo Sefamí. Fernando Ortega escribió muchas de las letras y las composiciones originales, y otros son de (o son colaboraciones con) sus amigos John Andrew Shreiner and Elaine Rubenstein. Toda es música bonita...Mis favoritas son "Mi abuelito" and "Flama de ángel."
