One that I would take to a desert isle!,

This is one of my favorite CD's. The music is upbeat, relaxing, joyous. I bought this on tape many years ago and as soon as I found it on CD I bought it. If you like International, Latin, South American, Mexian music I would imagine you would like this. Their CD "Amazonas" is also great.

About Huayucaltia,
By A Customer
This review is from: Caminos (Audio CD)
I was fortunate enough to have seen this group, Huayucaltia, in San Diego in 1988. I was in "Old Town", just walking around and heard this music in the distance...I was DRAWN to it...I grew up with this type of music, although the mix they used was unique and special. The instrumentation and vocals are unreal! I had never heard of them, but bought one of their audio cassettes after they finished playing (the first and only of an unknown band I've ever bought at first hearing), and let me tell you, it was worth it!
