Purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my son, it stopped working within a week. Amazon, much to their credit, very quickly responded and sent a replacement item even before I had returned the defective one. The replacement item stopped working three weeks after receipt. Amazon, again to their credit, has now initiated an investigation of the item.

Bad quality, and believe it or not, but the camo offers no tactical advantage whatsoever.

This Camo Headset looks okay seemingly, but I have not had one person happy with it at the store I work at.

Uncomfortable on your ear, horrible sound quality (if it works) and flimsy design.

Save yourself the time and pay a little more for a Microsoft brand headset.

this item is terrible, i bought it and within a couple weeks it stopped working... when it did work, everyone complained about how they couldnt hear me... its uncomfortable and very far away from the mouth

Well after my original headset crapped out on me i decided i definitely needed a new one if i was going to continue playing games over live. Looking around and seeing this one the cheapest i picked it up. Right out of the box it just felt cheap.

Pros
- cheap cost compared to other sets

Cons
- Uncomfortable: sits very loosely on your ear and the hard plastic digging into your ear isn't very nice either
- The foam that sits over the boom is easily lost, doesn't really effect the quality of your voice either unless your very loud
- I found that the on/off would sometimes not turn off or not turn on. the switch was very over sensitive.
- Joint rod connecting boom to ear piece comes loose and is easily separable
- immense feedback and echo to others your communicating with

Over all i'd stay away and spend a bit more to get something that will last.

(update: broke completely, cannot talk or ear with it any more. no rough use either, just stopped working)

I can sum this item up with one word: GARBAGE

The only reason I got suckered into purchasing this headset was that it has the mute and volume controls located at the controller rather than on the cord. The convenience of having the controls wasn't worth the extremely low quality of this headset. Not only was sound quality poor but I also found other gamers complaining about "noise" coming from this headset.

Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage. Spend a few extra dollars and get the Plantronics or "any" other headset. If you are looking for a headset with the mute switch on the controller rather than the cord you are out of luck. However, there is an adapter available that will take the place of the original XBOX 360 headset mute/volume control that was originally located on the controller. The Xbox 360 Headset Adapter will run you about $10 with shipping and will let you easily reach the mute switch without fumbling around with the cord mounted switches found on about every headset. You can also use your original XBOX headset or any other third party headset.

I have been looking for this xbox headset with the specific xbox adapter on it that has volume control and mute on it. The specific adapter if form fitted connects directly to the bottom of the xbox controller. The one that I received does not have the specific xbox adapter on it instead has the volume control built into the wire going to the headset which is what I DID NOT want. I am SOOOOOOO angry about this and feel that there was false advertisement. This exact same situation has already happened to me with Microcenter. I was so happy to see that Amazon had the exact one that I was looking for but yet I have been disappointed,, again. The worst part is that I am leaving with my family on 7/15 for a 2 week vacation and wanted to bring the headset with me.

I am returning this item and would suggest that you deliver exactly what you advertise!!!!!!Camo Headset

I got this head set and when i tried it out it didn't work. They sent me another one and then a couble of weeks later the mic wouldn't work.
