This is the most complete reference of SS camoflage patterns and clothing I have seen. It includes several patterns (plane, palm, blurred edge, dot, oak leaf and LIEBERMUNSTER ), as well as extensive coverage of the garments utilizing these designs (zeltbahn, smocks, M-44, panzer, hats, mitts, parkas, anoraks and tropical clothing).The book contains hundreds of clear color photos and documents the development of each pattern and piece. An excellent buy!

Mssrs. Beaver and Borsarello have achieved a herculean task with the completion of this work. The writing and photographs alone are worth the price. I got this book 2 years ago for Christmas, and it is constantly pulled from the shelves as a photo reference( I paint resin soldiers-specifically the Waffen SS). There are many obscure and rare late war prototypes featured from private collections all over the world. It also covers accoutrements such as helmet covers, caps, mosquito netting(for snipers) mittens,APC clothing as well as rare photos of the SS paratroop uniforms. I own nearly every title that Amazon has on the subject of the Waffen SS, and almost every title that can be obtained in the US, and this title is by far the most informative, well thought out title on the subject!

one of the best if not the best works on the camo patterns of the waffen-ss that I have come across not only in american lit. but as well as german sources. also is a very periodical look to arms, equipment as well as unit insignia.

I though the pictures in this book were outstanding. The text that goes with them is somewhat brief however, and I would not recomend this particular book unless you have a solid base knowledge of SS Uniforms in general. It expects you to know the basics. But if you are farmiliar with SS Uniforms, then by all means this is a highly recomended addition to your collection.

Are you a renactor? A scale model builder or you just like ww2 german uniforms? Buy this book right in this moment!!! Is beautiful, complete and full of stuff that is simply great, from overcoats, early, middle of late war garments, mittens, face masks, foot wear, everything is here. I just love this one! Recommended 100%.

This book is very detail oriented and offers a lot of full color photos, excellent for the history buff or scale model creator.

This book is very comprehensive. Lots of pictures of all known Waffen SS camo patterns on smocks, tunics, parkas, pants, helmet covers, zeltbahns, etc. Well worth the price.

Great book. It gives a clear and concise review of how the uniforms were made, why they were made the way they were and how they were used. The book should prove usedul to both the historian and reenactor.

per gli appassionati del genere è un vero capolavoro, ricco di foto e documentazione accurata, necessario al collezionista ma utile e completo anche per gli appassionati di modellismo militare, sarebbe stato bello averne una versione in lingua italiana, ne consiglio comunque l'acquisto.

Good reference book for the collector and the modeller.It has some very detailed pictures and great information on Waffen SS camo.Highly recommend.
