An excellent add to any grill - not just for camp chef grills! The fit may not be perfect but the plate compensates for uneven heating of todays cheap grills and the flimsy grill racks on them. And grilling on a griddle plate is healthier due to no food falling through and burning up. You can also flip it over and cook bacon & eggs or pancakes on the backside on lazy weekend mornings.

I was able to put this to use for the first time this past weekend. It was awesome! Worked exactly as expected. Very easy to cook on and clean. I see us breaking this out on every camping trip. Just a bit of warning though...our first meal on the griddle side was scrambled eggs (which cooked up super fast) and we forgot to make sure the stove itself was level and the eggs almost slid over the not so tall edge. Once the stove legs were leveled, everything was perfect.

Works great but the size is actually 13 1/2 x 15 3/4 .It didnt quite fit in the space i was trying for .

This griddle broke (cracked at least 6 inches) the very first time I used it. I have attached a pic of the crack. I used it on a Camp Chef two burner stove on low heat. The griddle came from the house, so it was at somewhere around 76 degrees and it was around 68 degrees outside when I started cooking, so no excuse of it being too cold before using it. I was cooking breakfast for my grandkids and heard a very loud pop only a few minutes into cooking pancakes. I looked at the griddle and it had cracked at least 6 inches from the top to the middle making it totally unusable. Very super disappointed. After investigation, I see that this problem happened to others as well. This product needs to be taken off the market. I wasted my money on this item because it is trash and I had to buy another griddle made of steel this time.

This is a great little griddle. For several years I have used it with the Camp-Chef triple burner stove about once a month when the girls get together and go horse camping. It's used for most every meal from hash browns, bacon, and pancakes to grilled cheese or hamburgers to fajitas, fish tacos or quesadillas. Everything always cooks perfect on this griddle! I have even used it as a warming tray by setting plates of food and the coffee pot on it as it disperses heat well when the stove is turned to the 'low' setting. And clean up is a snap. It's hefty, but not too heavy for me to easily lift about. Several other friends bought this after seeing mine, though they each had a drain hole drilled in the catch-channel along the side; that is way too messy for me. I think it is already optimally designed. Grease is easily soaked up with a paper towel and then properly disposed.

Extremely pleased with product; fits perfectly on Camp Chef Grill; The reversible sides are very helpful. Would definatly recommend this product!

I bought this grill/griddle to use with the two burner camp chef stove I had previously purchased. We first used it on a camping trip to Tallagega for a NASCAR race. We cooked eggs, and bacon on the flat side and cooked hamburgers on the grill side. We love It.

Buyer beware it appears that this is either a defective or cheaply made product. If you do buy this item make sure you use it right away. I suggest that buyers avoid this item altogether.

Like Noelle Mori we had almost the exact same experience. In my case it wasn't cracked out of the box but it cracked during it first ever use. While heating up (on low heat) I heard a loud noise from the stove, when I checked the grill/griddle was cracked in the middle. It is now a useless $35 weight. I bought it last month in plans for our outing this weekend (8/20/11). Like Noelle Mori "I was going to return the item but the return policy states that I am required to pay for the shipping which will not be refunded. Since the item weighs about 25 lbs, it is completely pointless to return as the cost of the shipping will far outweigh the cost of the griddle. Saying that, it was $35 which we may as well tossed out the window on the drive to the campsite."

I find it concerning/interesting that in less than two weeks there are two reported incidents from consumers with this product that are very similar. And we are both out of $35 and any reasonable way to correct the defective item.

Work great! Fits over one burner of my camp Chef 2 burner stove. Have used twice and both time excellent results!!

Purchased a while ago and didn't have a chance to use it. I tried to use it today on the Camp Chef brand stove, went cracked on me. I had so much confidence on the Camp Chef products before the purchase especially the stove. However, I don't know about this one, bad luck or just bad product.
