I got this fire pit for my husband for his birthday, after seeing a freind with one. He is like a kid in a candy store!!! Totally insane about this campfire. He uses it day and night....just like being at a campground. You can use it on grass and it doesn't affect the grass; on your deck...etc. When you go camping and fires are forbidden due to fire danger....these are ALLOWED because they are contained. AND....you don't have to worry about putting it out...just turn the dial and shut it off. It is sturdy and comes in it's own bag...at least ours did. We had a family dinner last week and for dessert we did smores...How good does it get? We will pack it around with us in our RV, so we can have a campfire ANYWHERE...ANYTIME. I don't know how much propane it uses, as my husband fills the tanks; all I can say is the enjoyment and fun are worth it. Buy this before they are gone. Got ours at Costco...no more there. Thrilled to see it on Amazon...will tell all our camping friends.

We have been using our new Camp Chef fire pit nightly for a couple of weeks now. We had a Little Red Campfire for a couple of years before this and the Camp Chef is a MUCH better product for our purposes. It lights instantly with the control knob right on the side (instead of on the propane tank)and puts out much more heat than the Little Red Campfire. It is warm enough (even on low) for 4 people to comfortably sit around it. It is quite a bit larger than the Little Red Campfire, so finding a place for it in your RV could be an issue for some.

This is one of the best products I have ever purchased. We have used it all winter when we would be camping. It is so much easier and cleaner than using wood. I would recommend this product very highly. The only problem I have had, is with the igniter. The igniter did not work on the fire pit when it arrived. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new one immediately. The replaacement lasted about three or four uses and it quit. I use a long lighter to light it. Just be careful and do not have your head over the pit when you ignite the gas.

Campfire with no smoke
Love this campfire on a cool evening! No smoke, no ashes, no gathering wood. Most RV parks won't allow campfires, but they do allow propane grills. Read more

Great, convenient camp fire
We've used this at outdoor events and on our back deck. It's great for staying warm and roasting marshmallows and hotdogs. Definitely money well spent
