5.0 out of 5 stars best album of the 90s, hands down, August 11, 2000
By

ive listened to this album 500 times easy. and it gets better and better every time i hear it. it has it all, dense, heavy machine like guitars set to the fattest drum beats with the thickest groove since bonham. the vocals range from the most melodic harmonies (like disengage the simulator) to the most demented growls ever heard (like rio bravo) i can virtually picture the set of a cheesy horror flick on songs like 96 quite bitter beings and lost in a contraption. if you have any taste in rock music at all, spare yourself the embarrasement of buying a flash in the pan album like slipknot or korn. CKY will be around for a long time. and maybe one day this record will come out of the underground and be a dark side of the moon, or a back in black. it definitely deserves it.

5.0 out of 5 stars CKY: Best Band Ever?, February 4, 2001

From the second I heard the opening riff of "96 Quite Bitter Beings" I knew this band was gonna be great, and boy was I right. This is the first band in quite some time to catch my attention like this, they haven't got a song that I don't like. With a band full of people with great talent and varying tastes in music, the outcome is something that is unlike any other band out right now. They just write really amazing songs, and have a great energy, PLUS, you can't beat how cool they are to the fans. Buy this CD, trust me, you'll never want to take it out of your CD player.

The cd rocks, cky is a great band and if you like the music, you'll like the videos. The music is featured in Landspeed:Cky, Toy Machine: Jump off a building, and the best of the 3, CKY2K.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shopping cart song isn't the only good thing about this CD!!, December 18, 2000

When I first heard "96 Quite Bitter Beings" on Jackass, I spent all day online trying to find out who did it. When I finally found out, I bought the CD right away. I am really happy I did. Not only is "96 Quite Bitter Beings" like my favortie song right now, every other track is great as well. For you Jackass fans, you know the song playing when Bran falls down the stairs and into that garbage can on roller blades? Well that's on here(#2) too. Anyway, this CD is amazing, and everyone should go out and buy it now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow., February 14, 2001

It's really odd to see someone you went to middle school with become famous. It's odd to see a band you bought the independently released cds from become a huge hit, and appear on a wildly popular show on MTV. It's odd to think I saw CKY2K when it first came out, and it was odd then to see locations I've driven past or walked through a million times in the context of Bran DiCamillo riding a dresser though them.

I grew up down the street from Bam and Jesse Margera. We had the same teachers, we were even in some of the same classes. I remember riding on the bus, listening to Bam explain to the bus driver how you couldn't piss and sneeze at the same time. It's an odd feeling.

I love this CD. Everything comes together perfectly. It's cool to see people from all over the nation praising a band I've enjoyed for as long as I can remember. Keep it up, guys.
