Book Description

May 1, 2002
Camp Wacki Kooki II – Friendship stories are a delightful blend of kids’-style fun and value-based messages. Vividly narrated, each story conveys a theme of friendship among Brian Z and his pals at fictional Camp Wacki Kooki. Hear the continuing adventures of Rowdy Roxie, Sticky Stanley, Double Dare Dalvin, Careful Katie and of course Brian Z! Each story is packed full of the zany mishaps and goof sound effects that kids ages 4-11 love! Camp Wacki Kooki story tapes are perfect for helping kids fall asleep at night and for keeping them quietly entertained in the car. Hear more of Brian Z’s stories in his other two tapes: Camp Wacki Kooki and Camp Wacki Kooki III – Teamwork.

Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

"In our media saturated world, stories on audio tapes can tap into children's imaginations in a way other visual media cannot. When listening to stories on tape, children's minds begin to imagine pictures. Television and video games are very fast paced and don't stimulate a child's imagination. Visual media usually offer a barrage of images to excite, not calm down. Audio taped stories, on the other hand, can help them settle down, so they can make an easier transition to sleep. While audio tapes are no substitute for reading to your children, they do make a nice addition to their choices for entertainment." David Walsh, Ph.D., Executive Director for the National Institute on Media and the Family.
