A good book of a confederate staff officer. A bit sad because he ends up committing suicide after the war. It gives good insight into general ewell. He was on his staff and was his son in law. He helps defend ewells decision making at Gettysburg. Good book

Pretty good book! Helped shed some light on the slightly odd General Ewell.
