I don't know if the reviewers who complained about the noise have ever used an air compressor before but this one is not that loud at all! Also, oilless compressors always take a little more time to pump up a full charge and are louder than oiled machines. And I don't know how one could expect a 2 gallon tank to provide any type of continuous airflow for cleaning, spraying etc. I am a professional woodworker and this lightweight little guy is so perfect for pick-up air nailing work or where a small trim job is needed and I don't want to lug around even a pancake unit. This is a fantastic machine for small nail jobs and inflating things so I don't know what others are expecting. Also, I bought mine brand new on sale from Ha**** Fr***** for $55.00! But even Amazon's price is well worth it. My only tiny complaint is that I wish the max pressure was 120 instead of 100.

Bought this compressor to inflate tires on two autos and two bicycles. Works great. Included accessories are all I need. Plenty of pressure for auto tire inflation. Properly inflated eight auto tires (32PSI) in about five minutes. Very happy with my purchase. No longer have to pay for air at service stations.

Very compact unit. Very easy to operate. I use it mostly for inflation but I can see that it will be very useful for working with tools. It's very easy to move around.

I needed an air compressor for my truck and car tires and this does the job just as advertised. I highly recommend this product.

This thing broke down after only 3 months of less than daily use for a couple hours at a time airbrushing with a small artist style airbrush. Tiny tabletop compressors handle this job for years on end without breaking. Save your money and time and stay away from this piece of JUNK!

Bought this for my IT Department to use when blowing the dust from computers and other electronic items. Does a good job when at full capacity, it is quieter then the old one we had, but it takes a bit of time for the pump to fill the tank and afterwards there is a foul smell of burning plastic. The smell is probably just the pump heating up and may go away with time, it has not affected the performance of the air compressor at all. Attachements are cheap, but we modified the hose with a good steel blow tube and that works much better then the cheap plastic attachments that come with it.

this compressor is very compact yet it does everything that I need it to do such as car and bike tires and sports equipment. It was easy to assemble the hose and easy to use.

Pure junk. All I've ever used it for it topping off my auto tire pressure. To pump up a flat tire will take about 4 refills of the tank. This thing is grossly under power. The hose tips are junk--almost worthless. The tire tip works, but is clumsy and hard to get seated on the valve stem. I wouldn't recommend it for anything but filling up bicycle tires. Oh, did I mention that the thing is very noisy? I will never buy anything from Campbell-Hausfeld again. Cheap China-made junk. BTW, the gauges are inaccurate too.

Yeah, it's a little noisy, but less noisy than other compressors that I've used - including the little 12v that I throw in the car trunk. Once the 2 gallon tank is charged the motor turns off and only turned on sporadically while I used it on a nail gun to put back molding after painting a room. The tank isn't big enough to do any big jobs, but it's small enough that the package easily fits on a small shelf space in the garage.

Not a good compressor. if you want to do anything beyond blowing up balls.It Will not handle tires.Unit kicks on at lot when running to recharge tank.If you want a real compressor don't buy this one!
