This item is excellent for the price, but keep in mind that it will not likely start a completely dead battery. It has the cranking amps to save you when you forgot and left your lights on, but that is about it. I paired it with an inverter I bought at Walmart so I can use it to plug in 120V AC standard plug if I really need to during a power hit. I have another Campbell Hausfeld wireless tire inflator that also works as a power source, and I have to say that this brand makes sturdy and quality tools. I don't think you will find you made a mistake buying any of their products.

This is a very useful item and a value for money. Compact and well constructed. Stands firm in the trunk. Just make sure that you cover it in a plastic or something so that any rainwater or snow does not fall on it causing any possible short circuit as two clips are always active.

Only complaint I have about most of jump starters is that their tongs/clips are not very easy connect. Many times some car battery terminals so different in shape than these tongs can effectively clamp to. Only if they could change the shape and specs of battery terminals and also the tongs on jump starters to match, it will be more convenient.

Good investment. Just make sure to charge from time to time (once in 3 weeks or so). Last thing you want is to need a jump start and see that battery of your jump starter is all drained.

I purchased this item when my original charger/air pump stopped working. This product is a fantastic replacement. The price was just right.

I got this for the used boat I bought last summer. The battery died on me one day and I had to drag/swim it back to the docks. All I needed was a jump. Never again. Plus for camping it adds a ton of benefits and air refills on the balls.. and and and - great tool, great price.

I bought this for my car thats rarely driven. I have a 95 Honda but since I barely have the need to drive, the battery drains and dies occassionally. This eliminated my need to wait for AAA or my friend to give the car a jump / boost. For the price of 2 jumper cables this product is certainly worth every penny.

This item will not fully charge and/or the charging light does not work. I contacted the company and they sent me a new battery but the unit still does not fully charge.

This worked great - super easy to use, convenient and portable. Unfortunately, the blasted thing has quality issues. The first thing to go was the little tips on the jumper connnections - since the connections are plastic, the metal clips just fell off. Unfortunately, it was while we were trying to help an out of town friend stranded on the highway...and they won't work without the stupid little clips. Eventually the hose went and one thing after another. Great product - when it works...which isn't for long. At this price, just call roadside assistance - it will cost the same as buying this.

I have had this for a little over a year now and it works great. I used it several times when my battery died on my car. Also works pretty good as an air pump. I leave it plugged in charging in my garage so it is always ready.

I bought this unit for myself, and liked it so well that I gave it as a gift to my brother-inlaw. After over 4 weeks, it still hasn't shipped, even though it still shows a available in less than 24 hours on Amazon. Ever try to CALL Amazon to discuss issues? Beware.

Purchased in February, has not worked out of the box. Unit will not charge. Unit has been under warranty repair for the past 2 months. It was junk, right out of the box. I will not purchase another tool or accessory from the above.
