Campbell Hausfeld PW1750 Pressure Washer, May 2, 2009
This review is from: Campbell Hausfeld PW1750 1,750 PSI 1.4 GPM Electric Pressure Washer With 20-Foot Hose (Lawn & Patio)
Pro.
- the price! its fairly cheaper than any other pressure washer at 1750 psi plus the free shipping!
- Very powerful, powerful enough to probably take the paint off my car! I spray at a close distance.
- The pressure only run when you pull the trigger beside that its very quiet compare to gas pressure washer.
- Spray gun can adjust from a wide angle spray to a point spray
- The pressure washer is light weight and have 2 wheels on them easy to pickup or pull around. (22lbs) my wife think its heavy ehehee
Con.
-The spray gun is made of cheap plastic and can easily crack or broken if drop.
- The transformer plug doesn't have any rubber protection it feel weak probably will crack open if you drop them.
- having the power cord, the garden hose and the spray gun hose thing could tangle up together, the power cord is not detachable and once you connect the pressure hose to the spray gun you don't want to disconnect them because it can create leak the next time you try to connect them again.
- 20' pressure hose for the spray gun is not enough, the machine doesn't have hose reel and the hose are stiff and hard to wind up when you finish using it.
(having a hard time wind up the pressure hose and disconnect the garden hose wind up the power cord making this pressure washer less useful.
tips:
for those who try to assembly this when you get it, you have to put TEFLON Tape anywhere you connect metal hose together if you don't do this it will leak and spray all over the place. just search in amazon for "TEFLON Tape" wrap the male hose with this tape a couple of round and connect them. it will prevent leak at the connection.
all in all i like this pressure washer and would recommend it, nothing is perfect the pressure have many flaws but this pressure washer work well and continue to work when i needed it.

Outstanding Purchase, January 29, 2009
This review is from: Campbell Hausfeld PW1750 1,750 PSI 1.4 GPM Electric Pressure Washer With 20-Foot Hose (Lawn & Patio)
This item did not have any reviews, I purchased it based on the great reviews for the smaller unit.It has plenty power to clean my driveway and was easy to use. The shipping charges were reasonable. It shipped the day i ordered it and arrived two days later. I recommend the Campbell Hausfield 1750 PSI pressure Washer.

Works ok but VERY poor customer service, May 29, 2009
This review is from: Campbell Hausfeld PW1750 1,750 PSI 1.4 GPM Electric Pressure Washer With 20-Foot Hose (Lawn & Patio)
I purchased this in summer 2008 and immediately the soap lance leaked soap everywhere. FYI: Campbell Hausfeld's customer service via their website isn't very good - very slow to respond. But, the soap lance wasn't that important to me, and the unit worked well for delivering pressurized water. I eventually did receive a replacement soap lance assembly.
Now the unit's gun assembly is leaking. In fact, more water comes out of the leak than the nozzle. I've been trying over a month to get a replacement part! Campbell Hausfeld is soooo slow to respond. They promise 2 day response time when you submit the question, but that's not the case. I've tried calling them and have tried multiple on-line service request, but all to no avail. Unfortunately, until I get a gun assembly, the unit is worthless. This is particularly frustrating as I would like to use it for spring cleaning.
Bottom Line: It appears that Campbell Hausfeld does not stand behind their product.
