The instant start/stop feature automatically shuts off the pump when the trigger is not engaged, prolonging the life of the pump. A swivel adaptor on the hose fitting allows it to easily connect to your garden hose. When you want to add a bit of detergent for even deeper cleaning, an onboard detergent tank holds one liter of any high pressure water solution. This pressure washer includes a 20-Foot high pressure hose with spray gun, an adjustable fan lance, a turbo lance and a 35-foot GFCI-equipped power cord, all of which can be stored in the convenient on-board storage.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I've been busy shopping around, searching the Web, and reading reviews in an attempt to find the right electric pressure washer at a comfortable price point. I settled on the Campbell Hausfeld 1800 PSI electric pressure washer and could not be more content. It's wheels are sturdy and the machine gets around my yard with ease. What's more, the amount of pressure is perfect for my around-the-house needs -- cleaning the kids' outdoor playscape, washing down the patio, washing the driveway, cleaning the side of the house, and washing the patio furniture. I was concerned about getting a washer with the right amount of pressure, not too much as to destroy items or peel away paint. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this washer.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I am not one to spend time writing reviews, but I believe it's important to give credit where credit is due. I recently purchased this pressure washer from Amazon after doing quite a bit of research on the internet. I'm a homeowner using the product less than 3 hours/week for light duty chores (patio, siding, fence, etc).
The box showed up from Amazon and I followed the directions meticulously as I haven't owned a pressure washer previously. After about 10 minutes of use, the electric engine started smoking. The troubleshooting guide said to turn off immediately and call customer support. Unfortunately, it was after 6pm and they were closed. I called customer support the following morning around 9am and was on hold for less than 60 seconds before getting a live voice. I told them what happened and they took my name/address/email and emailed me a FedEx shipping label within a few minutes. She told me I could call back with the serial number and manufacture date on the machine once FedEx picked it up (tracking number) and they would ship out a replacement immediately. Alas, I did not call them with the information to get the quick turnaround.
I recieved a call from customer service a few days later to inform me they received my return and were shipping out a new one immediately and sent me an email with the new tracking number. It showed up last night and I used it for ~2 hours straight without any issues.
1800 PSI is sufficient for a light user such as myself, but I can see why others may opt for a more powerful (gas powered) unit. I have a concrete driveway that hasn't been pressure washed in 5 years and some spots were difficult to clean, but was able to do so with some patience. 1800 PSI was more than sufficient for my vinyl fence and siding. I lead a busy life and make a conscience effort to buy low maintenance products, which is another reason I chose an electric pressure washer over a gas powered one (no trips to the gas station, oil to check, rip cords/batteries/starters). All of my lawn tools are electric by choice for the same reasons with the exception of my lawn mower.
I highly recommend this product for the average homeowner. It is refreshing to see a company standby their product and I will be buying Campbell Hausfeld products in the future as a result of the experience.

This is my second Campbell Hausfield pressure washer. The first lasted about 10 years before the electric motor quit - probably due to too much water exposure.
This one appears to be at least as dependable and should last even longer. I ordered this washer with a brass quick-connect hose coupler which I should have had for the first unit since the standard plastic couplers always leaked badly. With the brass connector there are now zero water leaks for this washer.
I use a pressure washer nearly every weekend to wash my cars. By keeping the cars waxed and spraying them every week they stay clean without needing to use any soap or detergents (which would quickly strip away a wax job).
My only complaint on this washer is the 20 foot hose, which is a bit too short for conveniently reaching from front to back of most cars. My old washer had a longer 25 foot hose which was just barely long enough. I also don't like the stiffness of these hoses and would greatly prefer a more pliable rubber version.
Overall, I feel this pressure washer is at least as dependable as any out there in this price range. Highly recommended.
