If you like it hot - this is the soup for you. Lots of good taste, but be aware that it is very spicy hot! One of my favorite soups with chunks of chicken and sausage slices. Very good!

I love this soup but why is it so expensive at Amazon? I can get it so much cheaper at my local grocery store.

I bought my friend a can of this.He went next day and bought like 6 cans of it.And told me how he was telling cashier he needed to try this soup.Trust me.you'll be trying to turn your friends on to this stuff also.so good.And it is spicy.but not that bad.maybe 1 out of 5 in heat level.not much.ENJOY

If you have ever had real Cajun style gumbo, you know this Campbells version does not compare at all. There is no flavor to this soup at all! I don't know what everyone else is thinking, but I will not buy this soup ever again. Very let down.

I eat soup for lunch or dinner fairly frequently. Campbell's Chunky Grilled Chicken & Sausage Gumbo is one of the few soups that really hits the spot.

My friend that lived in New Orleans for 10 years and worked in restaurants there makes an excellent, authentic gumbo, the best I've ever had. If I could convince him to keep me well-stocked with his homemade gumbo I probably wouldn't buy this soup. Unfortunately, this is the real world and you don't always get what you want.

That said, this gumbo I thought was surprisingly good, and I've gone through a couple cases of it. Lots of spice and flavor. Obviously homemade soup by an experienced cook is always preferable to canned, but this is a very reasonable and quick alternative.

The flavor of this soup varies somewhat from from batch to batch, and I feel that overall, it is not as good as when it was first introduced. I still eat it several times a week though. CAUTION!! Do not get the "Health Request" variety thinking it has the same good taste... it is poor by comparison.
