Pretty easy to measure water, boil, and add contents.

My only gripe is when I lived in Texas this soup was really abundant and once I moved to Florida I can't find a single store that sells it.

growing up with a super finicky sister, for some reason this one of the few things she would eat. So, of course I became, by default a connoisseur if you will of what we called "the package soup".

Years later, I still regularly buy this same soup. It tastes good (if too salty for you, like another reviewer, add more water than is called for, it helps), is very easy to fix-literally boil the water, add the packet, stir, cook for the alloted minutes and eat, and at less than 2 bucks for a box of 2, and it's cheap.

This stuff is great to have on hand as easy on the tummy food for kids and adults alike recuperating from illness. Especially as it has no lil veggie bits that make some kids freak out:)

Couple of add ins we've tried and love-
1-when finished cooking add a bit of chopped up boiled egg to your bowl-tasty:)
2-add extra noodles! Good choices are, alphabet, those lil rings, or broken up spaghetti noodles-as much or as little as you like.
3-a little bit of leftover chicken-really good and a good way to use up that last bit of rotisserie chicken from last nights dinner.

Enjoy!

I have been looking for this soup all over the place, even when travelling. I love this soup, and I especially love making the corn/soup/salsa recipe that used to be printed on the pouches.

Alas, the Campbells web site indicates that this soup has been discontinued. I'm so disappointed! This was a flavorful soup that was so much better tasting and filling than those "instant" cuppa soups that are everywhere.

Too bad. I've been buying this for years. I just used the last of my stock (no pun intended) and was trying to buy more, but it's not out there. Ack!

My wife has the same nostalgic draw to this soup as other reviewers. She adds extra egg noodles, which I think gives it a little kick.

For some weird reason, we cannot find Campbels dry Noodle Soup in any local supermarkets in our region (Seattle). Sure there's Lipton.. but don't even get me started...

We were actually buying this stuff on the road when we would travel out of state! One time I cleared out the shelf a small town grocer, picking up 10+ boxes.

So, I am thrilled to be able to buy the 12 pack online at Amazon.

Update.. This soup is unavailable anywhere including Amazon. It has been listed as "discontinued" on this site. It appears that Campbells is no longer making it.

I was unable to find any reference to it on the Campbell's corprate web site and sadly no media outlet appears to have covered this national tragedy. Goodbye old friend.

When "noodle soup" comes to mind, I think we all instantly remember the Friends episode of Joey trying out for a commercial with Ross' son Ben. Joey keeps saying "mmm noodle soup!" instead of just "mmm soup!"

But lets face it. Joey had it right. NOODLE Soup is the mother of all soups. We would never make it through cold or flu season without it. It is true, we would all be dead without this food staple.

The nice thing about this particular grocery item is that it isn't quite so heavy so as to be cost prohibitive to ship. Best to stock up before the winter rush. You might want to keep seven packs in your pantry just in case Little Joey contracts something at pre-school again. These kids and their germs. Sigh. But no need to fear, Noodle Soup is here!

In my opinion this is the best soup ever. It's so tasty! My only gripe is when I lived in Texas this soup was really abundant and once I moved to Florida I can't find a single store that sells it. Thankfully my aunt back home sends me monthly care packages which includes Campbell's dry soup mix.

I was purchasing canned (Name Brand) soup for my Auntie. At the local grocery, it was costing anywhere from .75 (on sale) to 1.00. In order to save some money, I did a search on Amazon and discovered this product. Each box contains 2 packets of dry soup mix. And each packet makes 3 cups of very flavorful soup. It is not salty (at least not compared to canned soup). I am enjoying not only the flavor but the tremendous savings. At this price you should try it.

I love this soup when I am hungry for it, and could not find it any more in the stores I shop at. Even with the shipping, Amazon has it and for the same price that I use to buy it for in the grocery store.
