After reading other reviews I did order a size larger than I normaly wear. This was a must. They run a bit small. The quality of the shoe is very good. I did have a cobler stretch them over the top of the arch in front becase they were a bit tight for my feet in that area. I did wear them all day long and had no major problems. Wearing them for several times before leaving home would be recommended. I am a hard fit and needed to put a heal pad in the shoes because I have a really narrow heal. I loved the fact that the rubber soles kept me from slipping on stage as I used them for Sweet Adeline International compeition. They are a shoe that you can dance in and feel like you still have a good product on your feet.
