I rated this book a five as it saved me a whole bunch of $$ on my first RV trip. I used the book in conjunction with the recreation.gov website. The combination of the two enabled me to make a trip halfway across the US staying at excellent campgrounds, off the beaten path and at very reasonable prices. This book more than paid for itself with its first use.
As opposed to private campgrounds, these COE sites are generally spacious, private, and not located by highways and train tracks.

A must -have book for campers... RVers part or full time... Contains info on the facilities of army corps campsites throughout the US. Separated by State,easy to use with a full description of the offerings at each site, when it is open, fees.All in a reasonably priced easy to pack book. We dont leave home without it!

Great book that shows all the locations of Corp camping parks with contact info. Very complete. If you are camping near the border of one state besure to check the neighboring state for close Corp camgrounds as well, because there is not an overall USA locator map.
