This review is from: Camus para principiantes / Camus for Beginners (Spanish Edition) (Paperback)
This book puts Mr. Camus and his writings in layman's terms. He was a fascinating and tragic figure. His love for his homeland, Algeria, had a profound influence on his writings. In many ways he was a hypocrite, but, he never wavered from his affection for Algeria or his mother. Upon reading this book, I have a greater understanding of la Peste and l'Etranger among other writings. His relationship with Satre and de Bouvoir are briefly discussed as is their eventual falling out.
