I bought this to more easily measure out several gallons of water for homebrewing, and I'm very glad I did. It's much easier doing this by the gallon than by the quart, which is what I was doing before. It's pretty easy to lose count after 6-10 quarts of water, forcing you to start all over again. And it's tedious. The only thing I would change about this pitcher is I wish it had cup lines on it so I could get a precise measurement for quantities smaller than a gallon at a time. But this is not a big deal at all, as I have smaller measuring cups for that anyway.

This is a sturdy, quality cup just big enough (and short enough) to use with a hand blender to make smoothie for two people (2 highball glasses). I found this product highly useful.

These plastic measuring cup is e best measuring cups I've found. I currently have one of each size to replace the glass Pyrex ones that are currently in my kitchen. I bought 2 from amazon (1 cup and 1 quart) and the other sizes from a local restaurant supplier about a year ago. The only downside is that the ink on the numbers starts to ware off after running it through the dishwasher almost daily. The good thing is that the numbers and lines are raised to easily read.

I purchased this 1 qt measuring pitcher so I can quickly fill my coffee pot with the right amount of water for the day's brew. (I'll doubtless find other uses for it.) It looks like it will work just fine for my needs. Finish (as noted by others) isn't the greatest, but not bad. What I checked for immediately was dribbles. The pour spout is sharp enough that it pours cleanly without liquid draining back down the side. That was important for my use.

I wanted a vessel for making sure my volumes were right while brewing, knowing I had a problem, and it worked just perfect. I think the 2 qt is about the right size to handle at any one time, and the lines are clear and easy to read. I highly recommend it if you're planning on measuring out 2 qts in cup increments.

I have a small three peg rack at the top of my kitchen faucet, on the wall... and this cup hangs there and it fits just right on the peg. I use it for myself when I want a drink of water. I live alone so no one else uses it. And occasionally I will use it for measuring liguids too... but mostly for drinking water. When I was a child, my grandma had an outdoor pump at a well to supply her with the water she used in her house work and cooking. There was a enamel tin cup that hung near the handle of the pump. So if you were outside and needed a drink of water... all you had to do was use that cup and push the handle of the pump about 3 times and you got the COLDEST and FRESH tasting water. This cup in my home reminds me of grandma's cup at the pump. A cup at the "water tap" for drinking... that is why I have this cup. It reminds me of my grandma and my childhood days on the farm.

Maybe its just me. But I swear I looked high and low for a 4 Quart Measuring Cup. Walmart, Target, Bed Bath Beyond, even Lowes and Home Depot. I cant find them anywhere. So when I saw this, I purchased it immediately. It is well made and of strong material. Im sure it will last forever as long as I dont smash it and break it somehow. My only complaint and the only reason I dropped a star was because of the price. $10 + $6 shipping seems a bit overpriced for a measuring cup made of plastic. But as I said, I couldnt find it anywhere else. So four stars and its a good measuring cup.
