When I was a kid, my mom worked a couple summers at the Bridgehampton Race Track in Long Island, New York. She'd take me along with her so I got to see many of the Can AM series races for those few years. There was also a motel next door to us where many teams stayed and I spent countless hours there ogling the cars! The pounding roar of thos big motors never left me and I have always loved these monsters since first seeing them. This is a great book, full of great photos with good reading about the races and the cars. If I had one wish it would be that there were way more color photos. Unfortunately, this is a short coming shared by almost all the affordable books I own on the Can Am cars and races. But, if you have a nostalgic love for these beasts and that series, you'll take what you can get and like it.
