We love this CD! My favorite is RHYME TIME BAND. It's a fun movement activity which reinforces phonics concepts of rhyming and word families.

Make sure you get the Revised Expanded version released in 2001.
This CD contains several great songs for use with colored scarves including MAGIC SCARF and Hap's updated version of his famous colors song called COLORS IN MOTION. Hap did this live at a workshop for teachers and we had a blast!

The review that says it's "false advertisement" didn't realize the MAGIC SCARF was in this newer edition.

We have at least 3 Hap Palmer CD's and my kids (6 and 4) love them. His music is catchy, the words easy to remember, and at the same time teach some kind of mathematical or language concept. I highly recommend any Hap Palmer CD.

I found this cd at a city library and wanted it for myself. I love the cd though the case had more wear and tear on it than advertised and the people who sold it to me got it from a library themselves so it was VERY used before I even got it.

But the songs are wonderful and I use them in my kindergarten class, especially the title song, "Can Cockatoos Count By Twos?".

I am very happy with the songs that are on this cd, however I purchased it to have a copy of THE MAGIC SCARF which is listed on the information amazon shows us about this product. The library copy I purchased only has 13 songs instead of the 18 listed here and of course the magic scarf is missing!!! I really wanted that song in particular for my scarf play program in my daycare home.I am very dissappointed.
