Excellent-will inspire you to read more,

As a huge fan of Dave Ramsey, I don't often find too many authors that I find as helpful, but Mary Hunt's "Can I pay my credit card bill with a credit card" is a close second.
The book is in a question/answer format and is broken down into the following parts: BANKING CONSUMER PLASTIC DEBT (very helpful-my fave part) CREDIT REPORTS HOME AND FAMILY SITUATIONS DIFFICULT DILEMMAS EDUCATION FUTURE Like Ramsey, her financial advice is practical and straight forward

It is not just about credit cards,
By
This review is from: Can I Pay My Credit Card Bill With A Credit Card (Paperback)
This book is organized in a question-and-answer format. Questions range from topics such as banking, consumer plastic, debt, credit reports, identify theft, and credit scores. What is nice about this format is that readers can simply go to a particular chapter and look for questions they are interested in. It is good to read this book from cover to cover, but then it can be used later as a reference.
The questions are pretty detailed and contain more than one sentence. A sample question is below: "In a recent column, you told a reader how she could pay off her home mortgage more quickly by applying an additional amount to the principal each month. Would this principle apply to a car loan or a student loan? I owe $23,000 on the car and $5,200 on a student loan. My monthly car payment is $440 at 7.9 percent and my student loan is $281 at 8.5 percent." - Mariusz Skonieczny, author of Why Are We So Clueless about the Stock Market? No Embarrassment in Being Financially Savy!!,

This review is from: Can I Pay My Credit Card Bill With A Credit Card (Paperback)
I have yet to read any book written by Mary Hunt that has not been life-changing AND profitable. So it is no surprise that her newest book is also FILLED with valuable information that will help keep me financially solvent. These days it is impossible to know too much about credit cards and the destruction they can potentially bring into a person's life: "Can I Pay......" is a MUST READ for anyone who carries a card! But don't think it paints only a dark picture. Quite the contrary. With her normal dose of practical advice balanced with plenty of humor, Mary provides hope for the future.

Boring Cover-- But This Book Has Great GUTS!,
By
This review is from: Can I Pay My Credit Card Bill With A Credit Card (Paperback)
First, I almost didn't pick up this book because the cover is just so boring-- I was expecting the "inside" of the book to be boring, too. What cover designer puts white text on a yellow/orange background? Ugh! As an author myself, I would never have authorized a cover like this. The title is not good, either. To me, it implied that the book was full of dumb things that people do with money. Or that the book was just about credit cards, which it's not.
But I knew the author had written the book "Debt-Free Living" and I knew that book was good, so I decided to go for it. This book was a pleasant surprise! It is very well thought out, and the writing is designed to be easy to understand for regular people. The author used a "question and answer" format, based on actual questions that she received over the years from readers that had burning questions about personal finance. Some of the questions range from super easy, such as "What is interest?" to much more complex questions about retirement plans and identity theft. This is a very good choice for people who are struggling with their personal finances and are looking for a book that is very easy to understand, fun to read, and gives solid advice. Recommended!

This book is chock full of helpful info about credit...some surprises. A small book but thorough coverage of the subject written in Mary Hunt's usual straightforward and pleasant style.
