i bought this for my kids and they love it.. I would reccomend it for older kids then what i have, which are now 6 but were 5 when i bought it..
it is NOT easy to do a parent MUST be willing and able to help until the child can do it on his own..

we now have the guitar too. and its just as much fun.. now that they are somewhat older.

Why do they make these toys and expect you to drop $1K in batteries. Come on guys sell the adapter with the product. This piano I purchased for my autistic son hoping that maybe he might show us his "talent." To this day he hasn't played it not once, I have spent most of my time looking for music cartridges and an adapter because the unit is so big it sucks up battery power. If you do not have the $$$ I would not purchase this product at all and the music cartridges are very hard to find.
