I thought this book's content was very helpful in my class.,

This review is from: I Can Problem Solve: An Interpersonal Cognitive Problem-Solving Program Preschool (Paperback)
I thought that this book and it's content was very helpful in my classroom. It was well thought out and organized in a user friendly manner. Each lesson was explained fully and covered the content well. At the conclusion of each lesson, I felt that the children had really gained some knowledge on how to work better within a group setting and with their peers. Each lesson was simple enough to carry out yet thoughtfully written. I would recommend this book to any preschool teacher!

A "must have" social skills curriculum,
By A Customer
This review is from: I Can Problem Solve: An Interpersonal Cognitive Problem-Solving Program Intermediate Elementary Grades (Paperback)
Myrna B. Shure's "I Can Problem-Solve" curriculum is essential for all professionals working with children with behavioral problems and/or social skills deficits. This curriculum focuses in on a major cause of behavioral and social problems: poor problem-solving skills. This book provides fun, easy to follow lessons aimed at teaching children how to evaluate situations and arrive at effective choices ON THEIR OWN. This is truly an innovative idea...that children CAN and SHOULD be involved in solving their interpersonal problems, rather than relying on adults to resolve their conflicts!

Great tool for teaching beginning criticial thinking skills,
By Cherri Lynn (Ft. Myers, FL United States) - See all my reviews

I am currently using this book in my Pre-K special education classroom. It is concise and easy to use. I am using the terminology not only with the children in my class, but am also having my parents read the book too. The parents like using the same vocabulary that is being used at school. It is written simply and is not overwheming for the children or their parents. It is fun to play games with the words and it encourages the children to begin using critical thinking. A great way to get your parents involved in classroom learning.

Though there was slightly more highlighting and underlining in the book than was described, my book came in very quickly and, for the most part, in the condition that it was described. I'd buy again from this seller.
