4.0 out of 5 stars Introduction to rights under employment law
This is a lot different than Zigarelli's other books. Those books have to do with business management and faith. In Can They Do That, Zigarelli gives guidance to employees over what the boss or organization can get away with at their apparent expense. Most of the time, the answer is yes, they can do that - if certain conditions are present or if they have met certain...

Rage, Violence, and abuse. Are you working under these conditions? Maichael A. Zigarelli explains how to identify the differences of proper and illegal actions occuring day to day at the office. Often enlightening, this is a good beginner's guide to find out if your employment rights are violated or if you are just mad at your boss. Too simplistic for the average Philadelphia Lawyer, but a good start for the average worker.

This is a lot different than Zigarelli's other books. Those books have to do with business management and faith. In Can They Do That, Zigarelli gives guidance to employees over what the boss or organization can get away with at their apparent expense. Most of the time, the answer is yes, they can do that - if certain conditions are present or if they have met certain other obligations.

Nothing is worse than not knowing if the misery you're enduring at work can be stopped due to your legal rights. This book gets one started in basic understanding of workplace issues and labor law. Law varies from state to state, and the subject is too big for all employees to become experts in the field. Sometimes one has to hire an attorney to make a determination if your rights are being violated.

I recommend this book as a good introduction that gets to the point quickly and covers a lot of ground.

This book was not much help in finding any answers to legal questions. It served one purpose, it make money for the guy who wrote it.
