This is a very well-made, durable product. It is a little smaller than you would expect, roughly the size of a large tea-cup saucer or small desert plate. It is flat instead of the typical globe. We were impressed by the quality of the product, since we have usually seen cheap, plastic plasma balls. This feels very solid. It can even hang on the wall, and uses either batteries or the supplied adapter. The only problem is that the lights jump around much too quickly. Instead of being a mesmerizing experience, it is a little annoying. If the lights were at a slower pace, it would be fascinating to watch. I wish there was a way to adjust the speed. At the current speed, a person loses interest very quickly.

the light moves at the sound of your voice or any noise, my son hung it on his bedroom wall - it's kind of like a crazy night light. We are happy with it.

looks good and works well. A little too bright in a dark room and can be a tad distracting but other than that it looks really good.
