Product Description

Airzooka - Black

From the Manufacturer

Destined to become a classic, Airzooka is a unique hand-held device that, when operated, blows a harmless "ball of air" towards any object or person. Laugh with amusement as, seemingly from nowhere, you are able to mess up someone's hair, ruffle their shirt or just plain blow them away. This product is one of the most unique products that we have ever done and gets a laugh whenever we show it. Airzooka makes a great gift item for kids of all ages. Available in 4 Blacklight Responsive Colors: Blue, Green, Orange and Magenta. AirZooka is the original hand-held, kid-powered toy that blows a harmless ball of air towards any object or person. Now with the 2-pack Air Tag, it’s double the fun. Ever try hitting an opponent with a ball of air? You’ll laugh in amazement as (seemingly from nowhere) you are able to mess up a person’s hair, ruffle clothing or school papers from a distance, or just plain blow ’em away. But watch out: with Air Tag, you may find yourself on the receiving end. Requiring no batteries or electricity, AirZooka operates simply by pulling and releasing a built-in elastic air launcher. AirZooka also features a pop-up site for improved accuracy. Take aim at your friends during a lively game of Air Tag, or simply try your luck at indoor target practice. And here’s the best part: because it shoots air, you’ll never run out of fun.

Super fun toy - my 11 year old son loves it!
krs
After some use the tabs holding the telescoping sections broke off, and I was able to retrofit screws to hold the airzooka together.
Lester A. Goodwine
It was fun watching the kids play with the large "puff" of air this toy creates.

The target was 10 yards away. I was currently residing in some pseudo-shrubbery, outfitted in impeccable office camouflage. In my head I reviewed the operation I had planned an eternity (about twelve minutes) ago... how had it gone so wrong? The hit was supposed to be a quick in and out job, a rookie mission. That all changed when someone had tipped off my unsuspecting target. Immediately he launched the perfect preemptive strike: a doughnut was hurled over 2 cubicles, armed with what apparently were homing sprinkles. The maple missile hit its mark: my right thigh. As a result, I was now sporting a dark sticky stain on my once immaculate khakis. My mind snapped back to the present situation: I was deep behind enemy lines, and my Dockers demanded retribution. I felt a disturbance in my bowels and knew my patience was about to be rewarded. Rewarded with gas so foul that it cleared out the 3rd floor men's restroom earlier that morning. A flatulence so potent, almost symbiotic in the way that it latches on to living beings in an attempt to ensure its disgusting survival. These particular toxic fumes were brought into existence by last night's dinner of Wang Thai's takeout red duck curry, although I nor Mr. Wang could have predicted the sheer magnitude of the weaponized methane about to be released. Carefully I peeked out of the bush to check for bystanders. The cubicle hall was deserted, only the murmur of forced phone conversation prevailed in the background. I felt the final pressure surge below my belt. Quickly I ducked back into the bush, unbuckled my belt, and dropped my pants. As I felt the release coming, I sealed the open end of the Airzooka Air Gun directly against my bare posterior.Read more ›

....it doesn't mean this is low! My boys LOVE this! As the boys get older I've had to let go of my ideal toys and give in to some harmless fun. The Airzooka is fun and harmless... well so long as nothing light and fragile is nearby!

It's a bit hard to work when you're small. You have to hold the handle and pull with the other hand - a bit tough. We've only had this for 3 days so I cannot say how long it will last. But it's FUN. Okay, so even I have gotten into blowing people around.

THE DOWNSIDE:

It's not so easy to aim, is kind of large, and is hard for smaller/weaker children and adults. It could possibly break something and if your kids are so inclined, it could be used to torture pets with bursts of air. Or maybe people... better warn Grandma and tell Grandpa to put extra paste on the toupee!

BUT if you're fully aware of the downside, I can still approve this fun thing.

I have a 73 inch Widescreen tv and a cat. The cat leaves the tv alone all day. Then, when I come home and start watching the tv, the cat will walk up to the tv, then turn and look at me (like he is taunting me), and then he will reach up, stretch his claws, and attempt to scratch the tv. Of course I have always jumped up and stopped him, but that gets old. This thing was a perfect solution to this problem. When he makes a move, I just shoot a harmless gust of wind at him. It doesn't hurt the cat or the tv, and there is nothing to pick up or reload.

It was kind of a pain to put it together. The pieces felt like they were going to break, especially when I was expanding the three sections. Once the screws are in, it is very sturdy.

I don't know that it would be "Fun" for a kid to play with. I suppose you could use it to scare someone when they walk around a corner. It has a good boom sound and it does shoot a good gust of wind.

I bought this to scare the birds out of my fig tree. The burst of air doesn't hurt the birds it just startles them and they fly away. Also had some fun with the dog.

I got this so I can blast kids in the classroom for fun or let them blast me if I make a mistake, etc...something to ease the middle school classroom tension. That said, it is kind of difficult to assemble, does not actually have a trigger, is pretty hard to aim, is HUGE in size, and the shooting involves pulling back some super heavy duty plastic material at a tension that is too difficult for any kid under the age of 8. One piece came unsnapped after about 30 in-house firings but with a little coaxing I got it snapped back in place. Regardless of all that it is still way cool and hope to have lots of fun with it in class!!

Wow!!! The AirZooka gun does exactly--I mean EXACTLY!!!--what they say it'll do! What a terrific gift idea! It is positively incredible to experience the mega-strong ball of air that bursts from an AirZooka gun! We bought a pair for our son for his 13th birthday, and they were a total hit. (I recommend that you get at least 2 for a fun,no-holds-barred shoot-out!) My husband assembled them in a snap, and the hysteria began! I will say that pulling back the launcher is not easy, so I wouldn't recommend AirZooka for a younger kid under, say, 8, but for any other boy at any age, this is an OUTSTANDING toy!

I did receive my product quickly, and in fine packaging. However, within 20 minutes of using this product, the collar that holds the plastic bag down popped off and would not stay on due to the fact that the tabs were too small. It took four screws, 15 minutes, and a drill to fix.
