Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Destined to become a classic, Airzooka is a unique hand-held device that, when operated, blows a harmless "ball of air" towards any object or person. Laugh with amusement as, seemingly from nowhere, you are able to mess up someone's hair, ruffle their shirt or just plain blow them away. This product is one of the most unique products that we have ever done and gets a laugh whenever we show it. Airzooka makes a great gift item for kids of all ages. Available in 4 Black light Responsive Colors: Blue, Green, Orange and Magenta. AirZooka is the original hand-held, kid-powered toy that blows a harmless ball of air towards any object or person. Now with the 2-pack Air Tag, it’s double the fun. Ever try hitting an opponent with a ball of air? You’ll laugh in amazement as (seemingly from nowhere) you are able to mess up a person’s hair, ruffle clothing or school papers from a distance, or just plain blow ’em away. But watch out: with Air Tag, you may find yourself on the receiving end. Requiring no batteries or electricity, AirZooka operates simply by pulling and releasing a built-in elastic air launcher. AirZooka also features a pop-up site for improved accuracy. Take aim at your friends during a lively game of Air Tag, or simply try your luck at indoor target practice. And here’s the best part: because it shoots air, you’ll never run out of fun.

Once put together its a lot of fun!

The plastic ring that retains the plastic/elastic diaphragm is too narrow and weak and the tabs that retain it are not deep enough to hold.

The AirZooka is a rather large toy that launches a blast of air up to 20' or so. We gave this to my son for Christmas and it turned out to be a surprise hit! The AirZooka was a little hard for my son to assemble on his own, but he was eventually able to get it.

Everyone (young and old) had a lot of fun playing with this toy and the cats soon learned to go upstairs when anyone picked it up (Note: No animals were harmed in the writing of this review :-)

I bought an airzooka at a garage sale and had great fun playing with it with the kids. Eventually, the clear plastic membrane wore out. We couldn't use it anymore, but it was certainly worth the money. I bought a new airzooka and, boy, was I disappointed! After very little use (maybe 30 minutes total over a period of about two weeks), the ring that pinned membrane to the barrel came loose and the membrane detached. Being mechanically inclined, I was able to put everything back. The tab that held the ring in place was too minimal, and the ring soon came out again. Tired of the effort to repair it, I did not try to repair it for quite a while. When I did, I found that I couldn't get the ring back. Pushing in one side caused the other side to pop out. I finally gave up and asked the manufacturer for a replacement. They told me that I wouldn't get a replacement because it more than 90 days after the purchase.

That was a lot of money and frustration for 30 minutes of use.

Got this as a gift for a relative. It was fairly easy to put together, and once he got the knack down, he had fun tormenting his wife and cats with it. However, it was dropped from barely a few inches off the ground and broke. He superglued it back together, so we'll see if it still works - and if it works better. The toy is fragile and not made well. It broke less than a day after I gave it to him!

Very poor design!!! I know what you are thinking...:What do you expect for $15??"...but really to correct the design problems it would not make the item any more expensive.

The retaining ring that holds to plastic/elastic band around the end of the drum is totally inadequate. It pops off easily, then the diapragm detaches rendering the toy useless until you streach it back on to the drum....only to have it happen again after 3 more uses. The plastic ring that retains the plastic/elastic diaphragm is too narrow and weak and the tabs that retain it are not deep enough to hold. I tried fixing it in place with Epoxy while holding it with clamps, but the glue popped off after 5-10 uses. Then after a few more uses the plastic retaining ring snapped in two!!!!!

Tons of fun....can shoot at window blinds from across the room (20 feet!) and see the air hit the blind slats. Just needs to be better made...bought for Christmas, was broken by the next day!!

Unlike many reviews here, I found it went together pretty easily...line up the arrows and pull to snap into place, twist and pull, and it was good to go in under 5 minutes. We bought it for a White Elephant gift exchange, and I ended up with my own gift. Once you figure out how to aim (the sight actually worked fairly decent for me), you can consistently hit folks with an air ball. The firing action makes so much noise (WAP!!), good luck sneaking up on your dog...she moved before the air ball reached her. Had some fun with it, and then the membrane came detatched after a day. It is fixable, but meh, we had our fun. You might be better off spending the money on that Nerf bow and arrow set, or any Nerf gun.

Who knew that a piece of plastic could be so fun! It literally sends an air bullet with enough force to startle you. I bought one of these for my husband and one for my daughter for Christmas last year. It may as well have been the only gift I bought because once they put these together (a bit of a pain) it was all they wanted to play with. Soon, the entire neighborhood was getting them and having air wars. They are a great, inexpensive, gift for any occasion and fun for all ages.

We got my AirZooka put together and the first time I pulled back on it, the plastic came out of the rim that holds it down. We can't get it to stay and I never got to use it.

I bought 2 airzookas for my 9 year old twins. This one broke on 3rd try- the plastic came undone- probably can be fixed but not sure how to secure the plastic again...
