Super Sized Light Doodler

I purchaed this light for my 7 year old grandson this past Christmas and thought it would different then described. There are 2 open (not enclosed) plastic rings that are very fragile. As the 2 lighted rings spin around they create these pretty cool designs but just a few. It would have been better if it had a clear plastic globe over the rings so they couldn't be touched and bent and broke as what happended with my grandson's. I also noticed there is a plug like area on the back I guess it could be plugged into some kind of jack or connected up to something else, not sure no directions or explanination enclosed. Could be useful for older kids for a science fair project.

Kids play with it on and off. Seems well built, however, and I don't think that this could have been engineered any other way, the circular bars of leds that create the effects are not tough. One adult foot in the wrong place and this is done for. All the features are totally cool. I had it on most all of XMas Day, in all of the modes, just sitting on the floor doing its thing. Even has a handle to twirl it around with.

This thing is sick! The sound responsive feature is pretty sophisticated for the type of toy that it is. If you like light toys this is a must have.

I bought this for my granddaughter last Christmas, and she absolutely loves it. Keeps her mesmerized for long periods of time. When she bumped it with her hand while it was spinning, she did not get hurt. Relieved that is actually safe enough for children.

It's a $30 light. I honestly thought it would be a little bit more enjoyable, but in all seriousness, it wasn't. We opened it, turned it on, turned it back off, set it on a shelf and there it has sat.

My son who is Autstic loves these type of light toys . This light is a little bigger than the others he has . When it came he couldnt wait to get it out of the box . It was funny watching him try to get under a blanket so he could watch it in the dark . Overall its a very entertaining light show with different controls to change the patterns . We havent had any issues with this

This is a great light. Easily worth the price. Since it is battery powered, it can be put anywhere and is portable. Looks really cool and responds well to sound. Highly recommended.

I gave this item to an 8 year old and it was a hit. Something different that I'm sure will be unique from other gifts.
