This amazing programmable timepiece utilizes digital technology and the scientific phenomenon known as persistence of vision to create an astounding optical illusion. Easy-to-use control panel allows the user to choose from a wide variety of features, which includes a countdown clock, daylight savings time and alarm. Choose from any one of 20 built-in holiday messages and greetings or create and store up to four personalized custom messages of up to 112 characters that can be changed over and over.

Whisper-quiet magnetic motor keeps the clock moving, day and night, while it challenges your sense of reality! LED light display can be turned off and clock will continue to maintain correct date and time. An AC adapter is included, but three "AAA" batteries (not included) are required for memory backup. I have been searching for this clock for quite some time and was very surprised to find it here on Amazon. This is a wonderful conversation piece because it looks so good at night as if the time is floating in mid air. I also really like the pre programmed messages such as "TGIF, Merry X mas, Boo Happy Halloween" and many others. The clock is very quiet just make sure you set it up on a sturdy surface, I had it on my dvd player and from time to time you could hear it rattle but on a table it is quiet. The display is not too bright for night viewing. I also like the different ways the time and dates are displayed.

I received this clock as a gift many many years back & it still works great. It develops a wobbling problem but it only does it if the unit is sitting on the cord or if something else isn't level with the surface. The display flickers rapidly but this is understandable.
