This is fantasic for young children. My 4yr old daughter and 3yr old nephew love this game. This game takes the best of the I Spy product and developed a game a young child can play. Simple game but yet all children know how to match and therefore have fun. Highly recommend for 3 to 5 yrs of age.

The premise of this game is incredibly easy. Cards are dealt out to the players and then the youngest player draws a card from the middle. All of the cards you have that have the object from the drawn card on them go into your pile. The first player with all the cards in their pile wins. It is a very quick game and its fun to search for the bizarre objects in your cards.
My son is 3.5 years old and he had no trouble grasping the concept. This is one of those games that can be fun for a wide variety of ages. We play with people ages 3 to 55. The game play is pretty quick and you are always searching your cards every turn, so there isn't a ton of down time which is great for little kids (games with turns that take too long always make my son fidgety). The cards are very thick cardboard with nice glossy graphics. I was actually impressed with how thick and durable the cards are; they are just about impossible to bend or wreck. The only downside to this game is that it is not one my son likes to play a lot. He will play it once or twice and then be on to something else. I think the main problem is that it is not as flashy as some of his other games. He actually prefers Cranium Hullabaloo, Cranium Cariboo, and ThinkFun Zingo to this game. While not the best game for young kids out there; this one is entertaining and is enjoyable over a large age range.

I use this product in therapy and I love it!!! A lot of children with visual perceptual problems. I also take it to the skilled nursing facility to work on attention and scanning. I looked for it on Amazon to buy 2 more. Love it!

My 4 years old and I spend alot of time doing the 'Can You See...' series of books. I ordered this game for him this past Christmas and it becoming a virtual ritual that we play 2-3 games before he and his 2 year old brother go to bed. My wife and I play with the 4 year old and the 2 year old flips the cards on each turn. Everyone has fun. He has also learned the valuable lesson that "You don't always win!" The playing cards and 'flip cards' are extremely high quality. I would highly recommend this game for a family with children in the age ranges mentioned.

We got this for our four year old son; he loves it. And we don't mind playing it either. It's easy enough for a first-time game player and can grow with them as there are different rules for older children. Super sturdy and well made.

Although the game says it's for 4+, I broke it out for my daughter who is 3.5. It's a very easy game to learn. It teaches taking turns, being a good winner/loser, and attention to detail. You each get 12 cards in front of you with a variety of pictured items on each card. You then take turns drawing from a different stack of cards with a single item pictured on each card. If you have the item on any of your cards you flip all cards with the item over. First person or persons to flip over all 12 cards win. My daughter picked up the rules very easily. The pictures are of colorful toys that children can relate to. The game takes between 5-10 minutes. There are advanced rules for older kids, but I didn't read those so I have no idea how that variation plays. Overall I give it five stars for a young childrens game.

I do vision tutoring to help students develop visual memory, discrimination, and perceptual skills. These skills translate into better reading and math scores. I purchased this game to use in my classroom. The children had enjoyed the I Can See Books and Puzzles, so I was excited about a game.
The game has two levels, and I use them both depending on the skill level of my student. The kids love the game, and often request it. I can get valuable information about their present vision level, and I can easily see how they are advancing by determining how they are able to spot the objects, but also how well they strategize in order to try and win. The kids, of course, are looking at the game for fun, not for learning, and it rewards on all levels. The kids find it easy enough that they do not get frustrated, but challenging enough that they do not get bored. Each round last around 15-30 minutes depending on the level used, so it is perfect for my classroom.
