Can this watch be used by walkers?

Yes, that is all I use it for to get accurate distance. I don't pay much attention to the timing because I stop during my power walks so the time per mile usually is a lot slower 16-17 minutes vs the 13.8 to 15 minutes I usually walk at.

Yes. If walking outdoors you'll be able to track your time, HR and distance. Indoors, you most likely wont be able to get sufficient gps signal so you won't capture distance. Hope this helps.

I've used it on many walks to include a day at the Magic Kingdom....the entire day we walked 15 miles as a family!!!!!!

I've never used it for walking, but I think you can. Whenever I'm about to press "start" and begin running, it usually picks up my walking pace if I'm moving around.
