DC motor copper connection pins break easily. Do not solder wire's to copper connection pins. They are very thin. I don't know how to fix it now.

Bolts and nuts are placed in only one bag making their sorting very problematic. The manual indicates the bolts and nuts to use, but you don't see any easy way to identify them inside a common bag (been trying one by one). I couldn't find correct washers for the M2 5x25 bolt. Wasted lot of time!

A great robust start. No need to worry about the running gear falling apart, I know it would if I made it from scratch. This kit gave me a good head start. Just started playing with it so I don't have much else to report. Will keep you posted.

I also added solar panels and battery backup to run my Arduino:
a) Solar panel
Frameless 10W Monocrystalline Solar Panel with Durable Tempered Glass

b) circuit that regulates the solar panel power to charge the battery pack
Gomadic SunVolt circuit to TipExchange adapter to charge mobile devices

c) battery backup to hold the charge from the sun for my Arduino Uno
Gomadic High Capacity Rechargeable External Battery Pack suitable for the Arduino UNO / SainSmart / Mega / R3 - Portable Charger with TipExchange Technology
