To be honest, I wasn't sure what to say here as a first time reviewer of this product because there was a sense of added responsibility to be accurate & informative. I love Amazon, I've made many product reviews because I feel a responsibility to provide the same kind of help from which I have benefited, toward the purchase of many other products. Seeing that there was no review while I myself had just purchased these and was extremely pleased, left me no moral (term used loosely) choice.

A little about me, I believe that within the next 6 to 10 years the result of 8 years of Obama spending and 'Quantitative Easing' (printing money out of thin air or "monetizing our debt") into infinity will continuously and substantially degrade the value of our currency at best, or our currency will collapse entirely at worst, within a ten year window. Economics 101 teaches us that money printing subtracts from the value of all dollars no matter where they are, savings, mattress, 401k, stocks etc etc. Why this basic economic principle is ignored by so many is still beyond me. Precious metals increase in value with inflation...period. I've been purchasing gold for the last four and a half years so I know that side of precious metals purchasing, maintaining the value of my savings into the forseeable future. Gold was $900 an ounce when I first saw the light, today it's averaging 15-$1700! I didn't have to be an Einstein to believe in what I just told you. I just had to believe in economics 101. However, gold seems to have leveled out in value the last couple of years and in my opinion the next big surge would be silver. Mind you, based on the aforementioned principles, surges are not my most important factors so gold or silver or platinum are all safe choices.

I bought these because the RCM always produces creative, if expensive, coins, especially if compared to the pathetic U.S. Mint (yes, I know--now I am on the NSA's list to read my emails.) One other thing to consider is these are being advertised by a large AP seller of coins at the "great value" of buy 20 for $5,000.00 and get the 21st free. What a deal. Buy here and do not let the AP companies take advantage of you.

I have searched for many months for a good price on this coin so that I could addit to my collection of coins. After purchase of this coin. I showed it to several of my collections friends and asked for their opinion on appearance, weight and overall collectable status. All stated it was a good purchase, and I agree with them.

love these coins, but it seems whomever I but them from, they are not professionally graded,
and all have minor yet noticeable flaws. This was poorly packaged again, with a flimsy hard plastic (slightly dirty)
Kind of settled for these I guess. The pictures look flawless, they are not for sure. Still beautiful and great condition,
put the pics are a bit misleading, as no visible marks are shown.
I strongly advise caution for these coins, unless you can find any officially graded.

Between the animal and that it's silver, I was drawn into buying the 2014 arctic fox coin of the same series. I decided to go ahead and get the 2013 polar bear coin, so I could keep up on the set as it was issued.

This coin is beautiful. It shines like a mirror, and practically feels like a coin and a half (which it is, since it's 1.5 ounces instead of the standard 1 ounce). If you like beautiful works on silver, I'd definitely recommend this and the fox coin.
