About the Author
A native of Ottawa, Ontario, author Robert D. Tennant Jr. graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1967 with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with History. In addition to writing books, Robert has contributed articles on tramways and railways to the Upper Canada Railway Society Newsletter, CRHA's Canadian Rail, and Collections, the journal of the Royal Nova Scotia Historical Society. He was also the editor of two periodicals of the Scotian Railroad Society, SRS News and The Maritime Express.
